Harmonix have a long, trusted, and storied history creating fun and inventive music based games. DropMix, sees the creator of Guitar Hero delve into the world of interactive borad-games and NFC cards with the remix/mash-up culture slice of fun that is DropMix. A clever, inventive, and enjoyable musical toy that can be enjoyed by anyone.

The concept is simple, and one that any serious fan of pop, rock, or electronic music should see the appeal. Each card represents a stem or sample - a vocal loop, breakbeat, melody, bassline, or what have you. Each snippet is taken from a popular song, from an artist and sample stable that includes the likes of Weezer, Imagine Dragons, Hall & Oates, The Jackson 5, and Odesza. This diversity adds to the overall party and novelty appeal of DropMix, with the game portion coming in the form of a multiplayer card game. Each player is given a deck, and following on-screen prompts on the connected DropMix app, they need to follow cues to pick the right card to play within a small few-second window of time.
