BioWare has offered up a very brief post on their official Twitter clearing up previous rumours of graphical parity for the upcoming RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition, noting that the PlayStation 4 version will be running at 1080p while the Xbox One version will be 900p.

With Ubisoft having recently been in the news thanks to their graphical "parity" clarification on Assassin's Creed: Unity, news that Dragon Age: Inquisition will be utilising the maximum "potential of each platform" will certainly poke those graphical debates even more.
Yesterday, BioWare held a livestream of Dragon Age: Inquisition yesterday on Twitch.tv, where they detailed various parts of the game—notably its character customization and combat. Following that, a website called 1080players put out a report stating that the game would be running at 900p/30fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In related news, those looking to jump on the PC version of DA:I will be happy to hear that BioWare has released the official spec requirements, as seen below:
Recommended:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz
System RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Graphics Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 11

Or, if you're playing on a slightly older setup, here are the minimum system requirements:

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
System RAM: 4 GB
Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics Memory: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 10
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on November 21st in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

And the system requirements are on par with where they should be for that type of game as well.

4k support for pc

It's fine-tuned for excellent mouse and keyboard play; it's got dozens of visual and interface options to tweak; and, of course, it's got 4K resolution and AMD Mantle support for the hardcore rig-building crowd.

hopefully fps is uncapped for pc.

Let me guess... You're one of those hardware buffs right?

Nah I couldn't be.

Because I bought two Titans.

Hey Ph33x did I ever tell you about that guy that bought 3 GTX680 4gb cards to game on a single 1080p monitor?

Nah, sounds a bit like my setup except I went with the 3 1080 monitors. Tell me more about him.

3 monitors for desktop use. You and I both know you never gamed in surround.

I wouldn't call running Eve, D3, and WoW on separate screens 'surround' either. I can also get all 3 cards running hard on a single 1080 panel, you just need to know how to ramp a game up to its true max. (I remember teaching you what that SSAA slider did in BF4, back when you used to come into my TS and be like that puppy dog that follows Spike around in the cartoons, waiting to talk about graphics all the time).

2 Titans for desktop use though? That double precision compute power must really be helpful for you.

Is there actually any point to your posts or?

ROFL.
The funny thing was that resolution scaling was useless to me as I was running 5760x1080. I'd need 4 Titans to run Bf4 on ultra with scaling. The equivalent of 6 GTX480s.

Youve got half the settings on High.

Ugh, do you think I'd play with a low average fps Audi? It's well above 90 all the time but all of your posts have been assumptions thus far:

1: I've gamed in surround (you said never) and unless it's racing it's basically non-conducive to play a game properly. (Enthrall me with the thousands of pro-gamers who swear by surround to win games, it's bad for that purpose)

2: You say I have a single 1080 monitor, when in fact I have 3 (you know this) and have them for the real estate as I do things in multiple games.

3: You say I'm not a hardware buff when in fact you know first hand through conversation that I am and my experience is way beyond yours. (Not that comparing experience would normally matter at all, but in the context of what you're inferring, it now does)

4: You say my average fps is much lower than what I've shown but you have no evidence of that. Most likely because your personal experience involves running too many Ultras where you get a hit in performance for no visual benefit. Us hardware buffs don't stand for this nonsense.

I merely reply to prove how much glass your house is made from.

Edit: I went to look to see when you last played BF4 and then I noticed what you did there. I laughed out loud.

I edited my post after I noted the medium and high settings. I assumed a person running a game with 3 GPUs would be using ultra settings. Mistakenly so..

Because Ultra in BF4 gives you nothing across several settings and chews up frame rate. You aren't a hardware buff if you didn't muck around with this yourself, let alone read any of the very detailed comparisons that made their way onto the internet about this specific facet of the game.

The enthusiasts out there with their heads screwed on know BF4 is about resolution, texture quality, and frame rate. Mesh High to Ultra does nothing visually, but takes another 10% out of your system. I suppose you're one of those hardware buffs.

I'd assume a person with a 6GB frame buffer would know how to make the most out of it, mistakenly so.

No, reading up on tech sites about how to get every last ounce of performance from my system in a specific game doesn't interest me.

You seem be have been offended when I said a sarcastic throw away line making fun of a silly comment Trog said about hardware buffs to you in another thread. It's Sunday relax. Have a bong and put your feet up.

You should have an interest considering you're the live at home and your mrs has the full time job. I work 40 a week and still have time to tinker.

This is why I'm actually an enthusiast, and you're just a "Guys look at my rig, it's fast simply because I spent lots of money and it runs all Ultra" kind of dude.

Cheers for the conversation. Add me on BF4 sometime once you're over this. Haha :)

And that's why I'd never bother with water cooling. Not because I don't think its great but because I couldn't be f***ed.

Speaking of which you should sell out and get 980's anyway before your cards lose too much value. Rumours are the GM200 is a 22nm part with 384bit RAM.
