A recent Rockstar Games
blog post reveals that the publisher/developer is more than aware people are screaming out for a PC version of their much loved and critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption. But you shouldn't hold your breath for them to answer the call.
We do know that, yes, there is just one title absent from our PC release plans – that game of course being Red Dead Redemption, and of course we’re well aware that some fans have been asking for it. All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms.
The rest of the post goes on to say that Rockstar hopes Max and L.A. Noire will sate PC players, but somehow I just don't think it will.

I'd be willing to bet that it would sell like hotcakes on the PC.
umm, profit?

Mouse and keyboard would work fine. WASD keys to control the horse and mouse to look around and shoot.

If there is no RDR on PC then I demand LA Noire gets scraped too. Any and all development/Porting by any Rockstar office should stop and be scraped of/for any future PC development. If I can not have RDR there is no point in selling me any Rockstar IPs. Rockstar is cheating on us with that slutty console crowd. Yes... I do feel a little butt hurt about this.
