DokeV from developer Pearl Abyss (makers of Black Desert) got a surprise Gamescom reveal via an extended gameplay that is surprising, confusing, and impressive in equal measure. Set in a realistic looking world you take control of a kid, capture creatures called Dokebi and battle and fly and ride tiny little cars and jet skis.

Plus, summon high tech ropes to swing through the air somehow.

Visually it's stunning (if a little rough when it comes to performance), and the art style is as vibrant as anything we've seen. And it looks to be an MMO of sorts with a wide range of activities like fishing and, err, having fun in a playground.

The trailer highlights traversal and the real-time combat set to a tune that can only be described as hyperactive. Check it out.

"Although the DokeV project is still under development, we are very proud of what we have been able to show you today and feel confident to meet and exceed your expectations," Sangyoung Kim, Lead Producer at Pearl Abyss says. "We at Pearl Abyss are excited to see your reactions and hope that you look forward to DokeV".

DokeV is currently in development for PC and Console, and we can't wait to see more of its insanity.
