In between bouts of hyperbole and information overload next week for E3, you can always sit back and enjoy some gymkhana.

DiRT Showdown arrived across our review desk recently, and Dylan "Gameboffin" Burns put his hand up to don a helmet and take the largely non-rally focused spinoff for, well, a spin.

While purists may want to look away given the game's more party-game approach, there's still a lot of fun to be had here, and it's still as gorgeous as ever.
