To showcase the power of its next generation graphics platform, DirectX 12, Microsoft showed off a tech demo from Square Enix at its annual Build conference earlier today. Running on the studio's Luminous Engine in real-time the demonstration certainly looks amazing. And very Square Enix too. The only catch is that it requires four Nvidia GeForce Titan X GPUs to run.

Maybe you should post up some of your art work to compare with it.

Surprised they didnt say it was running on xbox1.
Some of the GtaV stuff looks pretty close to that running on 2 titans, with dx 11. Id say put up a comparison, but we all know how theyed fudge the hell out of it.

thing is, as usual, there is WAY too much post effects, its all blurry and the detail has been lost. its why i always turn off s*** like that in game if i can. not impressed by thing TBH. the unreal tech demos make this look crap.

Perhaps the Youtube compression is ruining it, but it doesn't look that great (considering the processing power behind it)

rrrocket, it's designed to show off the technology, not sell a game about witches. The tech itself is amazing.

Thats what I don't get though, where does the tech come into play? Is it just the ability to push lots and lots of polys that they're trying to sell for DX12? Cos the guy in the presentation doesn't mention any of the details of the actual tech behind DX12, he just talks about how many polys are in the character's face and how high detail the textures are, neither of which are really thanks to DX12.
