After getting teased and then officially announced not that long ago, we've finally got a release date for Diablo 3's debut on the Nintendo Switch. Launching November 2, Switch owners everywhere will soon be able to take Blizzard's classic action-RPG on the go and slay demons while taking public transport.
Dubbed the Diablo III Eternal Collection, this version will include all updates made of the years to the game including the recent Rise of the Necromancer expansion. The Nintendo Switch version of Diablo III will also include local co-op and online support including access to Seasons.
“The gates of Hell will soon be opening once again, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Nintendo Switch players joining the battle,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “Whether they’re bravely diving in alone or teaming up with friends, Sanctuary’s newest heroes are in store for endless adventuring—and endless loot—when Diablo III Eternal Collection launches on 2 November.”
Diablo III for the Switch has also been optimised to take full advantage of both the Joy-Con and Pro Controller.
