Apparently the official announcement was coming from Blizzard tomorrow but in an embargo snafu Forbes posted the confirmation before removing the post earlier this morning. According to the information Diablo 3 for the Switch will include all post-release content including the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions.
Plus, provide full support for both offline and online co-op for up to four players. Similar to the Diablo 3 Eternal Collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the leaked price point was $59 USD - so full price. As an added bonus the Nintendo Switch version of Diablo 3 will feature a Nintendo-themed armour set (no word if this is strictly cosmetic or for what class) modelled after Zelda bad dude Ganondorf.
Diablo 3 marks the first Blizzard release for Nintendo's console and the first in well over a decade. Excitement around the release, especially for Diablo fans, is incredibly high and plays into the rumours and teases from Blizzard that Diablo 4 will be announced at BlizzCon later this year.
Expect a full trailer or additional info tomorrow.
