Along with a whole new heap of press coverage today, Activision has let loose a new gameplay trailer for Destiny, the upcoming first person shooter from Halo creators Bungie.
The new trailer is titled The Devil's Lair and features the game's Strike mode, which is the name given to cooperative instances aimed at "pick-up groups or friends looking for a quick battle together".
Beneath the ruins of the Cosmodrome, in the shadow of an old colony ship, we've located the House of Devils' lair. Fight the Fallen, burn back the Hive, and clear a path that leads straight into E3, Beta, and beyond.
Oh, and in case anyone else is wondering who the familiar voice narrating the trailer's intro is, it's Lance Reddick (The Wire, Fringe). The voice talents of Peter Dinklage can also be heard throughout the gameplay trailer, who is rather well known for his roll on Game of Thrones as Tyrion Lannister.
Destiny is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9th, but sadly, still no word on PC.
