Destiny's next major expansion The Taken King is just a couple of weeks away from grinding out your console disk tray, and ahead of the official release Bungie has dropped a gameplay trailer for the new content.

Destiny: The Taken King, the next great adventure in the first-person shooter Destiny universe, introduces a new story campaign and quests, new enemies to fight, new locations to explore, new Strikes and Crucible maps, a new Raid that will put players to the ultimate test, and more. To stand up to the challenge, players will have access to three new devastating Guardian subclasses, and a massive arsenal of weapons, armor, and gear.

Yeah looking forward to this one. Apparently the new raid is going to be released later (I expect a week after). Anyone else on here still playing?

I'm pretty over it, I mean the actual gunplay was awesome fun but the grind was just too much for me. Never really got to do much of the raids because it was just too awkward trying to arrange it and get a group of people together to do it without any sort of ingame matchmaking for them, or any way to even talk to your guild members. When they mentioned they've added a new spec for each class, that didn't excite me, that just made me think "oh god, how much do you have to grind old content you've seen a hundred times before to max this one out".

I traded this game in and moved on, I enjoyed it but as Khel said the grind is strong in Destiny

Is it not possible to buy just the expansion? I looked on PS4 last night and there was a pack with the original game + taken king + all the DLC so far for $99 or a pack with all that plus some 'bonus content' for $119, but no option to buy just the expansion. Thats rather s*****.
