Destiny PlayStation 4 Beta Begins July 17, Alpha Beginning Friday

Alongside the announcement that Sony will be releasing a white PlayStation 4 bundle to celebrate the launch of Destiny, the company has revealed that the game's beta will kick off on July 17th for PlayStation owners, while the alpha is set to kick off this Thursday for PlayStation 4.

Destiny's trailer revealed some new story details, revealing the game's main characters as the final guardians of light. The reveal was followed by some gunplay and vehicle-based combat.
