Deathloop is finally making its way to Xbox Series X|S consoles, and it's coming to Xbox Game Pass too, on September 20. This marks the end of the timed PlayStation 5 exclusivity for the game, one of our picks for the best games of 2021. It also arrives with new features as part of the Goldenloop Update.

Which is coming to all platforms and introduces crossplay between PSN, Xbox, Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store.

Today’s the day to break the timeloop and earn your freedom. You have 24 hours, 8 targets, and 1 rival assassin hunting you down. As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle, try new approaches, and do whatever it takes to break the timeloop. The island of Blackreef is waiting for you.

The Xbox and PC versions will also be getting cross-save support too. Very cool. The update also introduces a new Ability in the form of Fugue, "a projectile that slows and confuses your target, briefly rendering them harmless (and tipsy)". Plus, a new laser-beam weapon called HALPS Prototype that can refract off objects, and a new Enemy type called Paint-Bomber. And there's new secrets, an extended ending, and more.
