And say bye-bye to pixels, as the updated art looks every bit like a Chuck Jones-inspired cartoon. Which was the original intention for the classic '90s LucasArts adventure game co-designed by Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman, so all's well that ends well. But wait, there's more! And to alleviate the burning question as to whether or not Tim Schafer and Double Fine will remaster all of his classic LucasArts titles, the answer is yes! That's right, we can also expect to see Full Throttle Remastered on PC and PlayStation sometime in 2017.

Which is great news. And Day of the Tentacle, due March 2016, is shaping up to be the definitive version of the game with developer commentary and the ability to switch between classic and remastered modes.

For those that haven't played the game before, be sure to keep an eye out for it as it's arguably one of the funniest straight-up comedy games ever made.

Pretty rare that I'm keen on remakes but I have fond memories of playing this with my bro and sister when we were all kids. Might check it out.

I played the s*** out of this when I was a kid and didn't have many other options.

While it's probably awful in terms of gameplay, the characters and events are kind of amusing and vaguely educational once or twice. I think this might actually hold up.
