According to EGM (via Eurogamer) it is. And it would make sense given the popularity of From Software's unrelenting fantasy romp, which many of my peers claim is their Game of the Year for 2011 (I've yet to dabble in its challenging halls and dungeons).

The report cites "sources" close to the content project and Eurogamer reminds us From Software filed a trademark in Japan last year for the title "Forest of Darkness", which may, or may not, be related to the purported downloadable content. Apparently we'll be seeing said DLC sometime before March.

If you haven't already, be sure to check out the AusGamers Dark Souls review for more.

I'm guessing the DLC will only contain 1 level because they're going to make it ultra ultimate hard if not near impossible to beat.

By the way, what was AG's game of the year? Skyrim?
