The extremely popular, challenging, and beautiful action platformer Cuphead from Studio MDHR has mysteriously appeared on the UK PSN Store under the ‘New Games’ section. The actual product page for the game doesn’t load, but it points to a potential Cuphead PS4 announcement coming soon.
This information coincides with Geoff Keighley announcing on Twitter that a "special update" is coming from "one of our favourite indie game studios". So yeah, put two and two together and Cuphead might be finding its way to the PlayStation 4. Originally an Xbox and PC exclusive, Cuphead was also released on the Nintendo Switch and even made a dashboard appearance in Telsa cars.
Either way it’s great to see that PlayStation fans will get to enjoy this beautifully animated shooter/platformer. Plus, the timing makes sense with an upcoming Cuphead Netflix series set to debut sometime in the future.
Also, the expansion "The Delicious Last Course" - which was announced way back in 2018 - is expected to finally drop tomorrow. An image has appeared on the Xbox site saying the DLC is “Available Now”.
