But, on the plus side there's a new trailer that highlights the same wonderful hand-drawn animation and visuals that made Cuphead such a hit to begin with. With word that the DLC is getting pushed back to 2020, developer Studio MDHR notes that this is to ensure the same level of quality found in the base game alongside completing the work in a healthy and sustainable work environment.

When looking up our original review, which you can read here, we were surprised to learn that it came out in 2017. A release that itself saw delays. No doubt hitting this level of hand-drawn detail takes time and considerable effort - so seeing the similar when it comes to the DLC makes sense.
