As had been anticipated, UK studio Criterion Games spilled some details on a new intellectual property currently in development, during a brief segment of EA's E3 2014 press conference.

It's unclear whether this was the so-called "Project Zero" that the developer has hinted about for a while, because the Burnout, Need for Speed and Black developer had previously implied that it wasn't be a racing game, which this one certainly is.

Indeed, the new game shown takes the studio's experience with the Burnout and Need for Speed series and adds a whole bunch of other forms of transport into the mix. Very early looking prototype gameplay was shown, and the general vibe seems to be GoPro style first person racing involving everything from jet skis, wakeboards, and ATVs to aeroplanes, helicopters and wing suits.
