Though the PC release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is scheduled to hit Battle.net later this year. A little closer though, on March 12, the return of the spinning bandicoot and '90s icon will make its way to next consoles -- the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S -- in addition to Nintendo Switch.

On the next-gen front developer Toys for Bob have been working to bring the action up to a smooth 4K 60fps, alongside taking advantage of next-gen storage speeds for faster loading times. For those that played the game on PS4 and Xbox One a free next-gen upgrade will be made available.

Here's the 'new platforms trailer' showcasing the updated 4K visuals.

PlayStation 5 owners will be in for a treat as the update will take full advantage of the console's 3D audio features and new DualSense controller -- which means adaptive triggers for grappling and charging up a blaster.
