If there's one thing that Codemasters do well, it's create a good racer. Well, it's kind of the only thing they do so good thing they're talented. Anyway, the latest racer from the veteran studio doesn't take place on the meticulously paved roadways of a Formula One circuit. Or the forest roads of a rally track. Onrush instead offers outlandish off-road locations filled with obstacles, ramps, and high-speed thrills.

And yeah, looks like a lot of fun. Even if the beach-side bit at the end looks like a version of the Twelve Apostles section from Forza Horizon 3. But with more stunts and glowing firey boost trails.

Designed to keep players always in the action, ONRUSH is a celebration of sensational speed, outright fun and over the top spectacle. Players battle it out on track to power up their RUSH meter which enables them to unleash the ultimate manifestation of boost and power as they wreak havoc on their opponents by performing death defying takedowns and stunts.

Onrush will be out June 5 for PS4 and Xbox One.
