The 27-inch UltraGear 4K UHD Nano IPS Gaming monitor (LG27GP950) sees the PC focused LG UltraGear range add compatibility with next-gen consoles -- taking full advantage of the 4K 120 Hz VRR capabilities of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. This 4K display also features a 160Hz refresh rate with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, plus HDR 600.



Okay that's a lot of tech talk (but hey, it's CES time!) -- and in addition to the above LG is refreshing its 1440p or QHD range. The new LG UltraGear 32GP850 is a 32-inch display with an impressive 180Hz refresh rate, and the LG UltraGear 34GP950 is the latest UltraWide 3,440 by 1,440 display with local dimming zones, a 160Hz refresh, and NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate.


Elsewhere LG announces a couple of new professional grade monitors, with the UltraWide LG 40WP950 being a 40-inch model sporting an impressive 5,120 by 2,160 pixels (5K) display. Plus the new LG 32EP950, the company's first OLED monitor. Both are aimed at designers and professionals -- which means the 60 Hz refresh rates wont be ideal for gaming.
