Where company president and joint CEO Adam Kicinski revealed during a recent 2018 financial results presentation that E3 2019 will be massive for the company. Specifically mentioning that the show is a great place for release date announcements and new game reveals. Which, yeah, points to a huge Cyberpunk 2077 presence - and perhaps, even a look at the developer's other
mysterious AAA RPG.
With the reaction to Cyberpunk 2077's reveal at last year's E3 seeing the biggest engagement the studio has ever had for a game trailer and then gameplay presentation, CD Projekt RED is set to go big this year, with Kicinski noting "we have really prepared a strong show".
Recently the studio did state that a Cyberpunk 2077 was still a long way off, but a massive E3 showing would make more sense for a game out before the end of the year. Or early 2020. In terms of the details, it's unclear if CD Projekt RED will go the live-stream route or hold its own mini-conference. Chances are Cyberpunk will once again be featured as part of Microsoft's Xbox showcase.
During the briefing, CD Projekt was asked if the rumours surrounding Lady Gaga appearing in Cyberpunk 2007 were true, with the response being, "We prepared some surprises for E3, but no, it's not going to be any pop artists."
