The GAP lads have been busy... talking. We have two full episodes of the Aussie-based gaming (and geek culture) podcast, both of which can be found on AusGamers by following the respective links below after the descriptions:
The GAP Episode 187 - Jung's Pride

This week on The GAP Joab Gilroy, Luke Lawrie, Heath Dickson and Jeremy Ray discuss the result of the 2nd games media showdown for Neptune's Pride II. While also taking a look at the Payday 2 beta, Rogue Legacy, Prison Architect, Shadowrun Returns, and then going back a few years for Command and Conquer Generals. This episode goes for 1 hour and 35 minutes, and it contains course language.

The GAP Episode 188 - Town Space Craft

This week on The GAP Joab Gilroy, Luke Lawrie and Jeremy “Junglist” Ray are joined by 3 developers from Flat Earth Games. Rohan, Leigh and Justine discuss their newly released title TownCraft and how it came life. We also talk about some of the games we've been playing including Civilization V: Brave New World, The Walking Dead: 400 Days, BeamNG, Chess 2: The Sequel, the preliminaries for The Dota 2 International, and much more. This episode goes for 2 hour and 50 minutes, and it contains coarse language.
You can also plug in directly to the lads over on their Facebook page for swearing at them or making fun of their photos. Or maybe just to say hi.

Rogue Legacy "Dark Souls-esque" - wtf Luke, seriously. Just call it what it is - a side scrolling rogue-like platformer with RPG elements.

I played the demo. Game pisses me off. Meh. I can definitely see the appeal though. Still, there's less pattern recognition going on than in something like, say, Binding of Isaac. I definitely feel like the game can be pretty cheap though. Not being able to change swing direction half the time is a pain in the arse and any room where four+ flying/shooting enemies come straight at you before you've had a chance to have even a glance is just lame.

Great to still have quality (well, entertaining at least!) content coming, even after the recent GA upheaval. Top stuff , lads!
