Bohemia Interactive's recent release of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission sees a blend of sci-fi background with some action gameplay and a dash of strategic elements, formulating a game that offers a unique experience for what its worth. Our resident spaceman Kosta Andreadis has taken on the task of flying out into battle and has come back with his impressions on just how the game manages all these different gameplay types.

"Carrier Command: Gaea Mission is firstly a strategy game, and even though you get to control each individual unit under your command akin to a third-person action game (or first-person shooter), the tutorial missions alone are longer than most action game campaigns. And although as a whole it varies from boring, to somewhat competent and even enjoyable, Carrier Command’s lengthy campaign is probably more of a negative than a plus."

That's a shame, I really loved the original back in the day.
