The release of the Capcom Home Arcade is one that differs from the rest of all-in-one retro devices we've seen lately - and not only when it comes to its asking price. The competition-grade and durable arcade sticks and a library of games that you'd need to travel back to 1994 to be able to play make this something of a love-letter to the arcade era.

When it comes to the sort of hardware that offers a singular and unchanging line-up of games, then the list of what’s on offer becomes one of the main drivers of interest. And on that front Capcom has curated an impressive line-up covering well-known classics and a few hidden gems. Most of the titles were originally released on Capcom’s CP System II arcade hardware that debuted in 1993 and in terms of emulation, both the sound and performance across each game is as they say - arcade perfect.

Interestingly the Capcom Home Arcade only features one proper Street Fighter in the form of Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, which offers up a definite version of the original release. Elsewhere the line-up covers top-down aerial combat with 1944 The Loop Master, beat-em up side-scrollers in the form of Final Fight and Alien Vs Predator, and a few relatively unknowns with Capcom Sports Club and Armored Warriors.
