The fourth and final DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has finally been dated for PC and PlayStation 3 fans, with an October release expected thanks to tweets from developers Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.

The last content pack will feature five multiplayer maps: Decommission, Off Shore, Gulch, Boardwalk, and Parish. It will be available on October 10th, however no price point has been announced yet, though going off the recent pricing for Xbox 360 (1200 Microsoft Points) it can be expected for around $15.

You can check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the action in the upcoming maps, with all five being showcased.

man, I haven't played mw3 since before the first lot of DLC arrived. It was impossible to find a game without a hacker in it, and when the DLC arrived it was impossible to find a game that wasn't using it.

Their whole system is so messed up that I just gave up on it. No ability to report hackers, no kind of hack prevention/detection, no ability to TK the hackers, not letting people into a game that's using DLC even if the current map is one of the original maps. F*** Modern warfare, I'm done with this series for good.

As a long term COD player and defender. MW3 MP was rubbish. I can not quite put my finger on why as it's the same game. I can say, "lack of dedicated servers." However MW2 didn't have them and plenty of fun could be had with that game. Despite the same latency problems. Then there's the repetitive setting. However I can open up Blops or COD4 and have fun.

When the previous DLC was on sale. I thought i'd buy it, so i could play, and give it another chance. Maybe I was getting over BF3. I don't think I lasted an hour and it was a struggle.

This all said, I never learn and have pre-ordered Blops 2. Almost partly for campaign, and I wouldn't not have ordered if they didn't say it had ranked dedicated servers. So hopefully.....
