IGN has several new videos of direct-feed capture from Call of Duty: Ghosts with editor commentary exploring the nuances of the game's new Squads modes, a selection of missions built around playing custom missions in cooperative multiplayer or with a team of AI-controlled comrades.
Two of the clips feature the game's Executive Producer Mark Rubin, who provides a
comprehensive overview of Squads, and walks the IGN peeps through
building a team with the character customisation functionality (which now features female soldiers).
Also featured on IGN is some gameplay footage of Squads' Safeguard mode, which was reportedly captured from the PlayStation 4 from the game, and we feel it's fair to say, does not paint the game's next-gen console visuals in a very flattering light.
It's difficult to asses how much of that is due to the low-bitrate encoding of IGN's video recording, or if it reflects issues with the visual quality of the underlying game on PS4 (such as the seemingly deficient anti-aliasing) but it certainly doesn't look as spiffy as Activision's previously-released, official
squads gameplay trailer. Watch it below and pass your own judgement.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is out November 5th on PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with Xbox One on November 22nd and PlayStation 4 on November 29th.

If you think that's impressive, you should have a look at Crysis 3 running maxed out at a constant 60fps :P
Plays like a dream.
