Further to yesterday's leaked information of a new map pack coming for Call of Duty: Black Ops, Activision and Treyarch have today confirmed the leak with a brand new trailer, detailing four new competitive multiplayer maps and one all-new zombies map.

Unlike Escalation, Annihilation looks to have a lot more variety; both in visuals and in size and recourse. The video runs through each of them in decent detail, and as both an Area 51 enthusiast and a player of the game of golf, I'm kind of interested in playing both Hangar and Hazard. Of course, like all other CoD DLC, this one is a timed exclusive to Xbox Live and releases on June 28.

Stay around longer than we want would be more fitting.

Said it before in another thread but if you are a PC player and expecting to play new maps for multiplayer (I never play Zombies) don't bother getting the DLCs as servers rarely run new maps either because server admins are lazy or they're just not wanted.

Maps should always be free or you fracture the community. I hate DLC, I'd rather no new content for a game.

It's interesting on how well detailed visually all the Black ops maps are compared to the ones that came with the game originally, they look so bare & dull. So good on them for improving the quality of their maps.

Also was interesting how he said "Nuketown is a popular map", mainly because many players didn't understand how challenges level you up considerably, so they'd constantly play 18 player games on the tiny map to get as many frags as possible. So lame :)

Still don't understand how anyone can possibly take this franchise seriously when they release a different map-pack or expansion every second week.

Arma has it's DLC packs with in it's normal patches but with s*** textures and sounds so everyone has them, if you want the good textures and sounds you buy them to upgrade from the lite versions. Works great.

Those two DLC and the fairly priced and fun Just Cause 2 DLC are the only DLC I've ever bought.
