Treyarch and Activision have lifted the veil on the next instalment in the Black Ops series today, with a reveal trailer that shows off a very busy future filled with fighting robots, classic explosions and swimming in multiplayer.

We have a full week of preview coverage coming starting today as well, which includes multiplayer hands-on already, as well as chats with the top brass at Treyarch and much more. It's also worth noting that while in the past the series has always been on Xbox first, we actually played MP on PS4 and there was a big emphasis on a dedicated team working to get as much out of the PC build as possible.

Here's hoping that, at the very least, means dedicated servers.

Watch the trailer embedded below.

"How far can we push technology", well, not far enough apparently going by the quality of that gameplay. That looks like a step back in quality imo, I mean I never played the last one with Kevin Spacey either but at least the trailer for it looked impressive. That just looks old.

It's black ops 2, with full price again.

The only reason they spam these out every year is because console kiddies buy them.

You're an apologist for mining companies polluting the earth and advocate hardline stances when it comes to employee rights and such, yet have little tearys in multiple threads about people making a popular video game that people seem to like? Where is your they have a right to make money so let them be attitude here?

What a petulant little child you are. I guess being a child helps you relate to the ones you pay to have sex with you.

looks good, bit like a fluid Deus Ex fully enjoyed the SP campaign in the last one...never played MP didn't work. mind you all the SP campaigns are pretty good in the cod series and never really played MP since MW2.

Oh hey, CoD. I bought Advanced Warfare but have played roughly six hours or so, and only in that squad thing. So many better games these days that deserve my attention, CoD is not one of them.
