Though it looks like the usual July/August release for a World of Warcraft expansion has been pushed back to Q4 2020 - much later in the year. In a new Activision Blizzard financial call even though its studios have moved to remote work-from-home setups, it still plans "to deliver a robust slate of content over the remainder of the year".

Specifically "the next premium release of Call of Duty", "two titles based on library IP from Activision", and World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. As for Blizzard titles not included or mentioned in the 2020 update - those would be Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4. Though that doesn't come as much of a surprise as neither title was on-track for a 2020 release. During its reveal last year Diablo 4 director Luis Barriga said that it's "not coming out soon, not even 'Blizzard soon'".

Sorry for that painful reminder. What we wouldn't give to be able to spend time in Sanctuary right about now. Getting to play it at BlizzCon last year feels like that happened a lifetime ago.
