Pre-empting publisher Activision's intended unveiling date for its next Call of Duty title, the game's debut trailer appears to have leaked online, revealing the title of the game as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and a good look at in-engine visuals.
Destructoid claims to have received the intel from a "trusted source", but you don't really have to take their word for it, just watch the video yourself below.
Destructoid has learned the new Call of Duty, subtitled Advanced Warfare, revolves around a soldier of fortune group run by Spacey's character that has turned on the United States government. As shown in the leaked media attached to this post, players will wear exosuits to jump super high, scale buildings, and cloak themselves. Also, hoverbikes.
The trailer closes our with a November 4th 2014 launch date for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and although only Xbox One has been confirmed, going by the series' heritage, it's pretty safe to assume we'll be seeing this one on PC and all major console platforms too.
Update: It looks like the leak prompted Acti to release the video officially on the Call of Duty Youtube channel, so catch the (very upscaled looking) 1080p clip below.
Ugh, Kevin Spacey is so damn good. Why must you be in something like COD. Can't blame him for accepting whatever fat paycheck Activision offered though.
Haven't played a CoD game since Modern Warfare and WaW, but that trailer was pretty hectic. If the single player campaign turns out to be good, I might give it a whirl.

Judging a game by its theatrical trailer = 12 yr old virgin. Pretending that you only buy games for the single player campaign = Wanna be edgy hipster

Who gives a s*** honestly, this modern warefare theme has been done to death. Had it been Vietnam I would been all over it.
True bro. Or at least set it in Afghanistan, Iraq or by the looks of what's been going on tonight/today the Ukraine.
I see references to BF, Crysis, Titanfall, Advanced Warfighter and Elysium in this trailer. Definitely an interesting trailer, but once again, Activision are the Masters of Originality.
Yeah. Wandered off of the 4 chan/live leak reservation. thought i'll give this place the once over. Thought i'll check out to see if there is any interesting stimulating debates/topics, but it is mostly "oooo pwarrrr new cod game out awesome or did yer see that new show?" Saw the taxation thread and thought goody, but it was only full of nerds crying about their NBN or some s***. Just a bunch of plebs all agreeing on the same thing. Guess i got used to places like liveleak and /pol/ where you have thought provoking debates with out the fear of being banned or cried at because you dared go against the herd. Man, even my Catholic website has more robust debates on things from Syria to the Ukraine than this place. Having a big fight about how awesome Russia is at the moment. I don't know what happened to you people. It is like you have regressed or perhaps having adult conversations without the fear of being banned or post deleted has made me mature a bit more. Got used to people answering back with a a well thought out response instead of the usual "Hur dur you be aspy. There is no contrast on this place. You have to stop living in fear man. Come on over to the light side bro.
Without even watching the video, this is my guess on what it contains. Americans, lots of them. Some type of gun-ho rhetoric. No gameplay footage, not even 3 seconds worth.
But, watch everyone flock to EB games, or Game, or wherever those f***tards go now.
I'm actually a bit keen, not keen enough to go slap down a pre-order or any of that s***, but if it comes out and has a cool single player campaign and some kind of fun co-op mode, and reviews aren't awful, I'd probably get it. Looks fun, plus, Kevin Spacey. I haven't played a COD game since MW2 so I guess I don't have the burn-out others might.
yeah there is a difference between taking previously existing ideas which are then changed or expanded and this. This is What's Hot 2013/2014, copy and paste exosuit, mechs, supersoldier suit and blend. Difference.
Have you ever seen an exosuit with the backpack and arm frames before Elysium, have you seen the full body supersoldier suit before Crysis, mechs before mechwarrior? Sure we have. But not so distinct looking as they do in those mentioned trademarks. This on the other hand, does not give a s*** what anyone says, it just copy/pasted the whole library, even down to many of the fine details.
The exoskeleton in Elysium didn't even have a backpack though, to me it looks more like the real life exoskeletons DARPA has been developing for soldiers, which kind of makes sense to have in a future military game?
Still doesn't make it an original idea, but since when has anyone ever played a COD game for its originality. Even in the WW2 days they just spent all their time ripping off stuff like Saving Private Ryan or Enemy at the Gates. Its the game equivalent of a movie like Pacific Rim, I don't go there expecting a great story and originality, I go there expecting huge action and giant robots fighting giant monsters.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I love the original Crysis and a little bit of Crysis 3.
But on the other hand, it's CoD so.... yeah, it'll be more of the same s*** with a new paintjob

Nope, still read MW2 as Mech Warrior 2.
