I'm a big Resident Evil fan. I have been since the beginning, and so always hold a bit of a candle to most entries in the series, even the less-memorable ones. So it was with great excitement I fired up our review copy recently, of Resident Evil 6, a game I'd already played some decent parts of overseas, and felt quite enthusiastic about.

Unfortunately, the small taste I had prior to review, was about the best the game offers overall. It's a massive game packed with features, to be sure, but it fails to not only live up to the legacy left by Resident Evil 4, but to even usher the series into the modern gaming age.

Read our review to find out why.
