Recently I had the chance to visit Blizzard HQ in Irvine California. Whilst there, in between marveling at the sight and sounds like the winner of a Golden Ticket getting to visit Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, I had the chance to speak to some of the minds behind Overwatch. Talking about the future of the game someone mentioned that the possibilities were endless and that in addition to being a global-minded world, they could set something on the Moon if they wanted to.

And now it looks like Blizzard are teasing the next story-driven bit of content coming to the game. In a new post titled "New Details Emerge About Possible Fate of Horizon Lunar Colony" we get some info about something happening in Earth's orbit. And that it involves Winston.

At a press conference today, Lucheng Interstellar revealed the surprising fact that the colony's databases and monitoring systems are still up and running this day. While no direct communication has been established with the facility, the company has successfully retrieved interpersonnel logs sent days and moments before the base lost contact with earth.

Could we be looking at a new co-op mission along the lines of the recent Uprising Event? Something that will shed some light on Winston's backstory? Finger crossed the answer to that is yes, because that would be awesome.
