After spending some time with the open beta I'm pretty excited about Gearbox's hero/co-op/MOBA/shooter-thing Battleborn. It features a bright and colourful cast of characters, the same irreverent humour found in the Borderlands games, and some pretty fun co-op and competitive action. And, it's out tomorrow for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Unlike Overwatch (which is getting it's own open beta later this week) Battleborn feels like a harder sell. Mainly because it's hard to gauge exactly what sort of game it is from watching trailers. One great thing about it is that outside of the MOBA-style competitive modes there's a detailed and lengthy campaign that can be played solo or with friends. And in split-screen too.
