Call of Duty: Black Ops III is coming later this month, so in the countdown to launch, Activision has released a new trailer. Instead of focusing on the Zombies or PvP modes, this trailer is firmly focused on teasing the narrative of Black Ops III. You can check it out after the jump.

The trailer gives us the first glimpse of a familiar face (at least in terms of the actor) who looks like the main villain of the storyline. Christopher Meloni may not be listed on the game's IMDb page, but the character at the end sure looks and sounds like the familiar "that guy" actor from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and True Blood.

Better still, the trailer has a Deus Ex meets Heart of Darkness feel to it, the former in terms of the human augmentations and the latter in terms of a villain who appears to have forgotten what it means to be good. You can check out the trailer below, and you can pick up Black Ops III on the 6th of November for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Actually looking forward to this release. The beta was promising albeit the lag on the PS4

No Sam Worthington though. But Ron Perl-Man is a good addition
