Specifically Ubisoft’s Quebec City studio, the team behind the excellent Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Mark Laidlaw, a BioWare veteran and creative leader at the studio has perhaps one of the greatest RPG resumes in the business - Jade Empire, Dragon Age, Mass Effect. After consulting for Ubisoft for a few months, he joins to work on an as-yet unannounced project.

Which, when you factor in Odyssey's RPG approach to the franchise will be something along those lines. Fingers crossed it's a new IP that builds on that foundation. Mark joins the studio with the same title he had at BioWare - Creative Director. He has also been consulting on the impressive new indie RPG Waylanders, that recently met its crowdfunding goals.

This news also comes ahead of a planned new Dragon Age game reveal at tomorrow's The Game Awards presentation.
