With
BioShock: The Collection currently the free weekly game over at the
Epic Games Store. Featuring BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition, it's all of the BioShocks in one neat little package.
Even if you own one or all of the above odds are you don't own the Epic Games Store version, and hey, it's always a good time to re-visit and replay the original BioShock. A game that I go back to on a near annual basis - it's just that good.
Plus, these words from
our review back in 2007 still ring true.
Beyond 2007, I can't foresee a gameplay experience as rich, balanced and robust as this. As I said at the beginning of this review, BioShock really is the game "that keeps on giving" thanks largely to the fully realised game-world and the incredible marriage between interacting with it, its denizens and your accrued weapons and abilities, but beyond all of this, the experience is so much more worth it for the incredible narrative, story and pacing.
What's cool is that this bundle also includes the excellent Burial at Sea Episodes from BioShock: Infinite - which connected that seemingly unconnected story to the first game in truly ambitious way.
Would You Kindly Grab It Now.
