Today we bring our second review from the ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop line powered by a GeForce GTX 1070, the ASUS ROG G752VS. With a solid build, larger screen, and overall bigger and heavier design the G752 sits somewhere between a laptop and a desktop. Portable yes, but not exactly easy to carry around. But, it has the numbers to back it up.

Portability has always been the promise of the laptop. Being able to turn that thing that used to take up an entire room decades ago, the PC, and shrink that down to the size of something that can be carried around whilst you’re presumably on the go. Small is good, but as we’re talking about looking at a screen you don’t want to venture off into Honey I Shrunk the Kids territory. Because big screens are also good. A regular Catch-22 if you will. Which is why it’s always good to have a choice. The key difference between the ASUS ROG G752VS gaming laptop and the ASUS ROG STRIX GL502VS we reviewed the other day mostly comes down to size.
