With series creator Michel Ancel taking to his Instagram account to note that E3 probably wouldn't "be the best place" to showcase the long anticipated sequel. That's not to say that the game is still too early, with Ancel also noting that "we’re working on the game so sometime this year, you should hear about it."
Just how long have we been waiting for a Beyond Good & Evil 2? Well, to put it in perspective the sequel was first in development way back in 2006 before being put on hold in 2009.

It wasn't until last year that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially announced as being back on the cards at Ubisoft. With the studio working with creator Michel Ancel who is currently splitting his time working on this and out of his own studio on exploration game Wild.
