With the first patch that is set to contain over 150 fixes based on issues raised by the community in addition to improving performance and stability. To avoid any unforeseen issues the patch will make its way to Xbox One and PS4 next week - as per December's update. A second large patch is also due later this month, with new content to follow.
This news came as part of the latest Inside the Vault
update, which is disappointingly vague in that it offers no real information about what's coming other than we'll have to wait until patch notes to get a clear picture of what's being updated, fixed, or changed. And even later than that for what the mysterious content will actually be.
"We know you’re eager for new content and new ways to play Fallout 76. We’re still not quite ready to share details, but we can say that the time between the announcement of our next major update and its release will be very short."
No doubt the team at Bethesda Game Studios has been busy since the disastrous launch of Fallout 76 last year, and with two major patches coming this month the update pace has been pretty steady. And as a nice little bonus all Fallout 76 players can now obtain their free copy of Fallout Classic Collection on PC. All you need to do is sign into the Bethesda Launcher and install the game from the menu.
