Where after a giant fishing platform was build on an aquatic planet the corporation in charge discovered that some of the marine life had psychotropic properties. And so the drug Aurora became legal only on Neon and the platform is now a futuristic pleasure dome of sorts. This revelation comes as part of a series of behind the scenes looks at some of Starfield's locations. The next epic RPG from The Elder Scrolls and Fallout's Bethesda Game Studios.
Here's a look at Neon.
Next up is Akila, the capital city of a collective of star systems where the people belive "in the sanctity of personal freedom and individuality". Though the city has walls because on the other side there are alien beasties roaming the plains that are apparently a cross between wolves and velociraptors.
Finally there's New Atlantis which looks to be the bustling galactic hub for the UC (United Colonies), the most powerful and established faction in the game. Described as "a reflection of the future of our world" it looks damn impressive. And hopeful.
Starfield is currently on track for release on Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 11, 2022.
