Okay so a Vault Boy antenna may not be 'Stop the Presses!' newsworthy, but it's a nice and timely addition to the popular and all-around awesome multiplayer vehicle-soccer thing known as Rocket League. The big stuff that the latest patch does bring to the table (or field) though, are definitely the new Mutators. And these are just about Stop the Presses! newsworthy because they're game changing new modes that mess with gravity and physics in a game that is all about having fun with physics and gravity. And soccer.

Here's a brief description of the new Mutator Presets.

  • Beach Ball – A huge, slow, lightweight ball with a lot of bounce
  • Cubic – Cube shaped ball and recharging boost
  • Demolition – Demolish opponents on contact in a high gravity matchup
  • Moonball – Low gravity action with a whole lot of boost
  • Pinball – The ball is small, light, fast and bouncy… and a lot to handle
  • Time Warp – Slow down the action as you get close to the ball

  • And to keep the party-vibe a new “Mutator Mashup” has been added that will cycle randomly through the new presets.

Check out the full patch notes here.
