In a surprise move Sega has given Platinum Games' all-time classic action game Bayonetta a PC release. Available right now on Steam this version of Bayonetta offers up the game playable in 4K at 60fps, which is nice. Also, the release marks the first of many more PC conversions (which is what Sega is calling this as to not associate themselves with the taint of being labelled a port) in the works from Sega. Which is also nice.
If you haven't played Bayonetta before then you'll probably want to check it out, especially if you're a fan of action titles in the vein of Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden. Except better.
From PlatinumGames’ legendary director Hideki Kamiya of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry fame, SEGA brings one of the most universally acclaimed character action games of all time to PC.
Bayonetta. The last survivor of an ancient witch clan who keep the balance between light, dark and chaos. Entombed to protect herself – and the world as we know it – Bayonetta is discovered and revived after 500 years, sparking a chain of events with cataclysmic repercussions.
Also, if you purchase the game before April 25 you get the Digital Deluxe Edition at no additional cost, which includes a soundtrack sampler, digital art book, and other goodies.
