Which is when the Last Squad Standing mode finally drops on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Alongside the release date announcement, comes a rather impressive and fun new trailer showcasing a cinematic look at the genre - Battlefield-style. There's a definite Bad Company-vibe here, which is awesome.

Scavenge
Work as a team to unlock high-risk, high-reward Objectives and claim the best loot while exploring a map ten times larger than Hamada.

Fight
Unleash Battlefield V's signature destruction with combat vehicles, artillery strikes, and an expanding arsenal of weapons.

Survive
Play together to share gear, revive fallen squad mates, and outlast the Firestorm that incinerates everything in its path.

With a huge map, Firestorm is playable Solo or in a Squad (Duos is expected in April) and looks to be jointly developed by both DICE and Criterion. It's all very Battlefield too with 17 types of vehicles, ranging from tanks to amphibious buggies to tractors towing canons. Although entertaining first, the trailer manages to cover the basics - from dropping in via parachute with no weapons or equipment, to the closing ring (of fire), to the large map full of stuff to find and danger to avoid or face head-on.

With the success of the free-to-play Apex Legends it will no doubt be interesting to see how Firestorm fares in the long-run. Based on this debut trailer though, we're excited to check it out.
