Making good on the earlier teaser clip, Warner Bros Interactive has now released the full official trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, showing the dark knight getting rough and ready with a pair of familiar foes from Gotham's rogues gallery.
Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight.

Batman: Arkham Origins is due on October 25th 2013, on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.

Honestly still trepidatious about this, and while it looks like they've nailed the overall tone, I don't think Batman looks younger, I think he looks older.

Bummed about no Conroy, but what the hell are they going to do with Joker given Hamil said he was done with the character?!

Plus no gameplay is a real letdown. Really want to see this sucker running

Joker is supposedly being voiced by Troy Baker now, and Conroy is back in the cast somewhere, but not as Batman.

Roger Craig Smith as Batman and Troy Baker as Joker. Roger Craig Smith does Chris Redfield and Ezio and Troy Baker was Two Face and Robin in Arkham City.

i read that conroy said that he is voicing batman. i think he said it at some convention.

edit: never mind he was talking about another project he's working on

It will be weird having the guy who voices Two Face and Robin also voicing Joker. Should've hired John DiMaggio, he played Joker quite well in Batman: Under the Red Hood. Good to hear that Conroy will appear somewhere down the line, though it won't be the same.

I agree with everything Steve said. His suit looks weird too. I dunno if I like it to be honest.

I think they have gigantic shoes to fill without Hamil and Conroy, but I will reserve judgement till I hear their voice acting.

That was a really cool trailer, but yes, I want to see some gameplay too. E3?

I still really enjoyed the Batman: Year One and The Dark Knight Returns Pt. 1 and 2 despite the lack of Kevin Conroy. If anything I'm more concerned about how Joker will be. Troy Baker is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but those are some MASSIVE shoes to fill following Hamill's Joker..

Who gives a s*** about the voices, when I think back to Arkham Asylum I don't think of any dialogue, and I played Arkham City with the volume off and subtitles on. Playing computer games is a massive waste of time unless you are also smashing through episodes of TV or radio shows at the same time. Skipped as much cinematic s***ttttt as possible. And most of the time it was the same in-mates saying the exact same s*** they said 5 minutes ago.

Honestly first thing that pops into my head with Arkham Asylum was the incredibly mongoloid button/mouse combinations to spray the explosive gel.

Unless they get Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson or something, who cares.

If not for the cape it could have been Iron Man 3.

If the graphics looks like the trailer, then count me in.

tel, they won't even come close. If it's the same modified Unreal Engine Rocksteady used, it'll still look nice, but it's not Rocksteady and it won't look like that CG trailer
