Like DLC and then in-game purchases, the Season Pass has become a release must-have for publishers, and Batman: Arkham Knight is being slapped with the same buy-in system. Warner Bros has also revealed details on a 'premium edition'.

You can pre-order both now. The season pass is some AUD$59.95 while the premium edition of the game which comes with a season pass is slated to drop at AUD$159.90 for console and AUD$139.90 for PC.
The Batman™: Arkham Knight Season Pass will deliver regular new content for six months post-launch including new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.

The Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition includes the main game and the Season Pass.
There's no other word on whether or not the PE comes with any collectables, art books or the like, but there's a good chance there's still a special edition yet to be announced. Which really leaves the only separation between buying the game and season pass individually a point of money -- fork out a wad of cash now and you're set for content later or, wait and see if the content is actually what you want or worth the extra $60.

I'll let you guys and girls talk it over in the Comments.

Batman: Akrham Knight is due out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One this June 24. In case you missed the latest trailer for the game, featuring a huge cast of characters, check it out embedded below.

Unless there's some collector's edition style stuff no way can they justify that price for the addition of a season pass - you just know 75% of it is going to be challenge maps and/or different characters for challenge maps.

What the f***, $60? Thats a whole game. If I was paying that I'd want a whole game's worth of content, not f*****g challenge maps and batmobile skins.

S**** getting out of control with dlc and season pass these days.
Add in all the time it takes for patches etc to fix games that are f***ed at launch it just makes sense to hold out longer and pick them up on steam sales.
At least by then all the s**** been sorted out and often some if not all the dlc has been thrown in free.
Also if the game hasn't been fixed you haven't wasted your time and money.

not buying. over this season pass bulls***. I like the batman games but any dev who actually reasons that s*** to be a good idea is a nob. I cant suffer such retart, let alone pay one/many.

Edit * - f*****g lol, and for our hard earned 160 we get new drivable race tracks. I just blew. that s*** sounds so f*****g exciting.
