Baldur's Gate 3 is currently available to play in Early Access, but as part of a new D&D Direct event overnight developer Larian confirmed that the full release (or version 1.0) is expected sometime in 2023. The developer also presented a fun new video where in addition to some cosplay we get a good look at how far the game has come already.

Most notable we get to see the impressive visual overhaul the game has got since its Early Access debut, not to mention just how detailed the characters and RPG-ness of it all is. "By the Nine Hell, we've added a lot of great stuff already," the video says. "And there's more where that came from. So join us in early access on our journey to Baldur's Gate 3 or come along in 2023 when the game releases."
