Sydney-based Flat Earth Games (TownCraft, Metrocide) is hard at work on a stealth space-trading game called Objects in Space where you control the bridge of a ship and apply tactical play inspired by submarine combat. Above the game, however, the team is also promoting your own creation of a physical bridge to pull you into the game even more.

Here's the studio's official line on their game:
Objects in Space is a modempunk stealth space-trading game set in Apollo – a huge cluster of star systems dozens of lightyears away from Earth. You are a lonesome ship’s captain, buying and selling wares in order to keep your bucket of bolts afloat and stay one step ahead of pirates, organised criminals, corrupt governments and shady laws.

BridgeYou will command your one-person ship from the captain’s chair, but you’ll never be looking out a main view screen and seeing enemy ships flying around – in space, encounters happen far outside visual range. Instead, you’ll be poring over magnetic, gravimetric and radiation scanning arrays trying to locate tiny boxes of metal sometimes flying at millions of miles per hour massive distances away hoping against hope to get a missile lock.

Combat in Objects in Space sees ships treated more like submarines than dogfighters. You’ll be running silent, planning manoeuvres far ahead of time and engaging in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with nebulous enemies.
You can read an even more in-depth breakdown of the game here, but for now, watch the "make your own bridge" trailer embedded below.
