We are at the midway hump now, with tomorrow setting us off on the homestretch towards that coveted Number One spot in the annual
AusGamers Top 10 Games of 2021 list. So far we've unleashed what we think is a fairly diverse lineup of titles that range from big-budget, big-name games, down to long-gestating Indies and more in between.
Today is no different, with an entrant from the evergreen stable of
Devolver Digital titles, and one handled by a team of just two peeps, no less.
We are, of course, talking about the
UK's
Acid Nerve, a two-person studio that broke its development duck on
Titan Souls back in 2015. But it's the venerable
Death's Door that finds its way onto our list today, a game that was also nominated at
Geoff Keighley's
The Game Awards in the "Best Indie" category (and one we firmly voted for).
And while we're spruiking that Number One position as a key post, it should not be lost on any of the entrants that make up this full Top 10 on the way there. Be sure to check back tomorrow for Day Seven, Number Four. Oh what could it be?
