We're almost halfway through the AusGamers Top 10 Best Games of 2019, today coming in at number seven on day four. And as the headline suggests, that four is an eerily odd number for this entry to land on.

Some games thrive, some die. Often, it's the market that dictates this, but equally it's important to remember that game creation from a publishing and distribution perspective, is still a business. And in business risk-reward is a cruel mistress.

Today's entry comes in the form of Darksiders Genesis from developer Airship Syndicate. The game kind of came out of nowhether, but immediately impressed with great visuals, gameplay familiarity, and accompanied with an all-new look. Here's some words:
This is an artfully-crafted PC experience that is console-bound in February of 2020, and with the extra time alongside the earlier PC release, should come packed with a few changes to address the minor issues some had with its December drop. Overall though, those issues barely corrupted the full experience.
