E3 might have been full of Triple A games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, BioShock Infinite or Batman: Arkham City, but there was no shortage of smaller, indie titles on the show-floor, and the one that stood out most for us was
Bastion from newly formed studio, Supergiant Games.
Stemming from a team of just seven guys (who all essentially live together in one house), Bastion is a throwback to classic SNES games of yesteryear, but brings with it modern design sensibilities and just about the most unique story-delivery process ever crafted for a videogame. We'll have a review for this bad-boy coming pretty soon, but in the meantime, check out the video interview we did with the game's creative director, Greg Kasavin.
